Day 1 – Meet at Ben Gurion Airport and transfer to hotel in Tel Aviv. Overnight – in Tel Aviv.
Day 2 – Visit Old Jaffa, Tel Aviv sites, streets, markets and museums. Overnight – in Tel Aviv.
Day 3 – The Costal Plain
Old Jaffa, Caesarea, Akko, Haifa.
Overnight in Haifa (or Galilee).
Day 4 – Galilee
Nazareth, Sea of Galilee, Capernaum, Mount of beatitudes, Jordan River.
Overnight – kibbutz hotel in the Galilee.
Day 5 – Golan Heights
Katzrin ancient town, observation towards Syria, Banias (Caesarea Philipy),
Overnight – kibbutz hotel in the Galilee.
Day 6 – Jordan Valley – to the Dead Sea
Beit Shean archaeological site, Qumran site (where the Dead Sea scolls were found), Ein Gedi Nature Reserve.
Overnight – hotel at the Dead Sea.
Day 7 – Dead Sea, Massada
Swim (float) on the Dead Sea. Visit Massada (climb by cable-car).
Overnight – Jerusalem.
Day 8 – Jerusalem – Old City
Observation from Mount of Olives, churches and archaeological sites in the Old City. Overnight – Jerusalem.
Day 9 – Jerusalem – New City
Israel Museum, including the Dead Sea scrolls. Jerusalem Model during the Roman period, Yad Vashem (the Holocaust Museum), the Knesset.
Overnight – Jerusalem.
Day 10 – Transfer to the Airport.
Day 1 – Arrive at Ben-Gurion Airport where a representative greets you and introduces you to your upcoming trip in the Holy Land.
We proceed to Tel Aviv – Jaffa for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2 – Visit Old Jaffa and the St. Peters Church. Continue along the Mediterranean coast to Caesarea where Paul was imprisoned and Cornelius baptized, visit the Roman Theatre, Aqueduct and the Crusader remains. Drive to Mt. Carmel, where Elijah confronted the Pagan prophets. Dinner and overnight stay on the shores of the Sea of Galilee.
Day 3 – Tour the Sea of Galilee region. Visit Capernaum and Simon Peter’s House, the Mount of the Beatitudes and Tabgha-the site of the feeding of the multitudes. Then take a boat ride across the Sea of Galilee and enjoy a St. Peter’s fish lunch in Tiberias. Later walk along the Jordan River.
Dinner and overnight stay on the shores of the Sea of Galilee.
Day 4 – This morning we drive through the village of Cana, the site of Jesus’ first miracle and continue to Nazareth – site of Annunciation and home of Mary and Joseph. Afternoon ascend to top of Mt Tabor – site of the Transfiguration.
Dinner and overnight stay on the shores of the Sea of Galilee.
Day 5 – Continue via Beit Shean and the Jordan valley the Holy city of Jerusalem.
Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.
Day 6 – Continue our journey of faith in the Holy city. We shall visit view and experience: The Mount of Olives; Garden of Gethsemane; Mt Zion; the room of the Last Supper, the Upper Room and the Tomb of King David; Church of Mary’s Dormition. Afternoon to Bethlehem – visit the Church of the Nativity. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.
Day 7 – We walk into the old city of Jerusalem. Experience the Christian, Jewish, Muslim and Armenian quarters. See the Western Wall, the Temple ruins and the Temple Mount. Later stroll through the colorful bazaars of the old city to the Pool of Bethsaida, Antonia Fortress: Pilate’s Judgment Hall, and the Ecce Homo Arch. Continue our journey along the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. End the day at the Garden Tomb. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.
Day 8 – Today we drive to Massada, site of the Jewish zealots’ last stand against the Romans. Later, drive to Ein Gedi to experience the salty water of the Dead Sea. Continue our journey to the Qumran Caves, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.
Day 9 – Morning at leisure.
Visit Yad Vashem the Holocasut Memorial; Shrine of the Book housing the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Jerusalem Model. Ein Karem – site of the Visitation and birthplace of St John the Baptist. Back to hotel for the overnight stay.
Day 10 – Transfer to the airport for your flight back home
