Choosing your accommodation when planning a trip of Israel
Room at Mizpe Hayamim Hotel, Galilee
Since this site is about touring around Israel, I recommend staying in at least 3 locations. Although Israel is a small country, it is recommended to have a round trip tour, avoiding coming back to the same location every evening. This way, we gain more touring time and are able to visit more sites.
Tourists usually choose to stay in Tel Aviv at the beginning of the tour, then, in the Galilee and in Jerusalem. These are the three main overnights bases. Of course it is also possible to start with Jerusalem and end in Tel Aviv at one of the hotels near the Mediterranean beaches.
In addition, and in case of a longer trip, staying overnight at a Dead Sea hotel is recommended, as well as a hotel in Eilat, on the Red Sea.
Accommodation options in Israel offer: Hotels, Boutique Hotels, Kibbutz Guest Houses, Bed & Breakfast Zimmer and recently – AirBnB type of apartments for short time rent.
The hotel star system has not been newly adapted yet, but hotels and travel agents categories hotels according to guests’ reviews.
Upon deciding of the proper itinerary that suites you, we shall then recommend where to stay overnight and provide you with a list of hotels or other accommodation, recommended by previous tourists of mine.

Here are the official websites links to the best choice of hotels in Israel – to mine and my tourists opinions.
There are more suitable hotels that were not included in the list. Some hotels grade themselves higher, but we are careful and realistic in our list below. In Israel, at the moment, there is no official Hotel Stars Rating (working on it). Booking: You can either book on the web ( www.booking.com for instance), or, we can book hotels for you through an Israeli Hotel Wholesaler.
5 star Hotels (Some consider themselves Deluxe and some are Moderate):
